Draft Enhanced Annual Plan 2024/25

We have extended the submission period for water and wastewater rate changes.

The submission period for the proposed changes to wastewater and water rates has been extended to 3 pm June 4, 2024. This extension allows affected ratepayers additional time to consider their submissions.

The extension applies exclusively to submissions on water and wastewater rates. All other submissions for the Enhanced Annual Plan were accepted until 4.30pm May 20, 2024.

This extension provides four weeks from the date the letters were received.

Inspection of rating information database

In terms of Section 28 of the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002 Council advises the rating information database (RID) is available for inspection on our website.

The RID contains the valuation details, the classification for rating on a rateable property, and any targeted rates a property may be liable for, but does not give any owner or ratepayer detail.

The information available in the RID is relevant for the  2023/24 rating year ending 1 July 2024.

How we’re shaping our district

Dog registration is approaching, update your dog’s details now.

If you own a dog, now is a great time to check that your four-legged friend’s paperwork is up to date.

  • Do you have a new dog?
  • Has your dog recently been microchipped or desexed?
  • Did your dog pass away in the last year?
  • Are the contact details we hold for you up to date, including an email address?
  • Have you moved house recently?

Making these changes now will make your dog registration paperwork super simple to complete later.
